That's a nice sentiment, but culture doesn't win football games. Tennessee's defense ranked 90th in yards per play allowed last season. You can't just out-loud a better scheme. Boston College, with far less fanfare, held opponents to 4.9 yards per play, which was top 40 nationally. Developing players is great, but ignoring the portal is how you fall behind. The teams maximizing both development and strategic transfers are the ones competing for championships now. A loud stadium is an advantage, but it doesn't fix a secondary or generate a pass rush.
