Now, this takes me back to the old days when Auburn used to get all fired up about preseason lists before the season even started. I remember when Pat Dye would have his boys believing they were disrespected, only to come to Athens and leave with a loss. You talk about your 2026 class, but son, we've been building somethiing special since Herschel Walker first stepped on that field in 1980. You can have all the recruiting stars you want, but it doesn't mean a thing until you line up between the hedges. Ole Miss and Texas A&M? That's fine by me. We've never needed a piece of paper to tell us we're good. We prove it every Saturday in the fall, just like we did when we'd shut down Bo Jackson and the Tigers back in the day. That locker room fuel you're talking about burns out by the third quarter when you're staring at our defense. You keep worrying about those lists. We'll be worrying about winning the conference, something we've done consistently while you all have been searching for an identity since the Tuberville years. The only list that matters is the final one in January, and we seem to find our name near the top of that one a lot more often than not.
