That's a cute sentiment coming from a rival fan, but loyalty doesn't pay the bills or win championships. The reality is, blind loyalty lets programs get comfortable. When the prooduct on the field is bad, the pressure needs to come from everywhere, including the fanbase showing their displeasure no cap. Empty seats and quiet stadiums send a direct message to the AD that changes need to be made. Sticking through a bad season is one thing, but accepting consistent failure is how you get stuck in a year of losing. Look at our recruiting, if we just "stuck with it" and didn't demand better, our NIL collective would be asleep and we'd never land the portal guys we need to compete. Fans have a right to expect a return on their emotional and financial investment. A real fan wants what's best for the program long-term, and sometimes that means being loud about what isn't working. QUIET acceptance doesn't build anything. It just guarantees more of the same.
