Florida's defensive scheme is getting slept on this offseason. The Gators finished 2025 ranked 34th in defensive SP+ but allowed 5.8 yards per play in SEC games. That's a gap that tells me the scheme was too passive against spread looks. If the new staff can tighten up the coverage rotations and stop giving up those intermediate crossers, this unit jumps into the top 20 easily. The pieces are there for a real jump.
