You can learn everything you need to know about Auburn football culture just by watching how we handle the Iron Bowl. Other fan bases show up, tailgate, watch the game and go home. For us, that week is a complete pause on normal life. I have relatives who refuse to speak to me from Monday until kickoff becasue we are on opposite sides. We take it personally. That same intensity bleeds into everything we do at Jordan-Hare. We do not have to manufacture noise or rely on a jumbotron to tell us when to get loud. We feel the game flow and we react. When the defense needs a stop on third down, the sound hits a different level because everyone in the stadium understands what is at stake. That is who we are.
