Man, I feel this in my soul, but from the other side of the whistle. We see the same ghost in the GSC every single Saturday. You build a defense to be violent and disruptive, and the second you start dominating the line. But you watch the other side, and their left tackle might as well be a rodeo clown with how he's. No call fr fr. It absolutely changes the math of a drive. You're rght, it's a hidden tax. It forces you to play not to get a flag instead of playing to make a play. And you're dead on about the consistency, or lack of it. One crew lets them play, the next one throws a flag for a mean look. There's no way to prepare for it, and it absolutely feels like an opponent you can't gameplan for. It makes every big third down a coin flip on whether the rules from the first quarter still apply. I don't know what the fix is, but when fans from Georgia to West Alabama are screaming the same thing, maybe someone should listen. It's not about getting every call, it's about getting the obvious ones right, both ways, all game long.
