You Aggies always underestimate what a good coach can build. I watched R.C. Slocum build a powerhouse down there in the 90s, and this feels familiar. That defensive front they're assembling is nastier than anything we saw in the old Big 12 South. Portal or not, talent wins, and they've got it. They'll be a problem for everyone by November, just like those old teams were.
