That's a cute little story about the old days, but football has changed. You build champions with elite talent, period. Coach Broyles was a legend, but you think he wouldn't be stacking five-stars if he was coaching today? everybody acts so noble about "development" until they lose to a team that has better players AND develops them. We do things the right way at Morris, we find guys with heart who want to be here, and we build them into winners. That's how you create a real program, not just renting players for a year. A&M can chase all the stars they want, but they haven't done anything with them. We build a culture. Those three-star kids who bleed for their school? They're the ones who win you championships when it matters, not some five-star who's already looking at his NFL draft stock. Let them have their recruiting trophies. We'll take the wins on the field.
