that's a cute story for a prgoram that's never won anything meaningful. utah's whole identity is being the plucky underdog who "develops" while the real contenders are busy winning championships. you know who else develops three-stars? every single group of five school. the difference is, when you actually have access to elite talent, you win national titles. utah's ceiling is a pac-12 title, and that conference is gone. their development narrative is just an excuse for never being able to recruit with the big boys. they get credit for it constantly from every media outlet, so spare me the "never get credit" act. real coaching is winning when it matters, not just patting yourself on the back for sending a guy to the jaguars' practice squad.
