But you know what else that era had? Stability. You think we have that now? The whole landscape changed and you either adapt or get left behind. Look at what happened to our rivalry with West Virginia. That was torn apart by realignment, not the portal. So you tell me, should we just sit here and watch our program fade because we're not "renting a roster"? That's how you end up in the Tire Bowl every December. I remember when we had leaders, sure, but I also remember the lean years under Walt Harris where we just didn't have the tallent.
