Just saw that Yahoo piece running down our 2027 commits this week and I gotta say something that nobody in. We are quietly building something nasty in the defensive backfield for the next two cycles and the so-called experts keep sleeping on it. Look at the kids we have locked in already for 2027. These are not just bodies filling spots in the class. We are targeting long, physical corners who can press at the line and safeties who actually want to come downhill and hit somebody. That is not something you can teach. Either you have that dog in you or you don't. And the staff is identifying the ones who do. Everybody wants to talk about Oregon stacking five-stars or Georgia reloading with the same old system. Meanwhile our coaches are out here finding defensive backs who fit exactly what we do in the secondary. Press coverage, physical run support, and ball skills. That is the Auburn way. That is how we shut down spread offenses in the SEC. We are not trying to win a recruiting rankings trophy in June. We are building a defense that can hold up when the fourth quarter comes around in November. And the pieces are coming together exactly how they need to.
