This is the most paranoid, small-time take I've ever read. Purdue fans are inventing conspiracies because they can't handle that their program is irrelevant. The Big Ten hired a competent administrator, not a Wisconsin spy. The idea that this one guy is going to rig the entire conference for one school is laghably stupid. If Purdue is so worried about "political reality," maybe they should try winning more than eight games once in a while. Their problem isn't conference office politics, it's that they haven't been a real threat in decades. Good leagues put successful people in charge. Wisconsin just won a national title in hockey and runs a top-tier athletic department. That's who you want making decisions, not someone from a program that celebrates making a Music City Bowl. You operate on "development and scheme"? Then develop some All-Americans and scheme to beat your rivals. Stop whining about shadows on the wall. The gap isn't closing because Purdue lacks talent and vision, not because of some fabricated backroom deal. This victim mentality is exactly why they'll never compete for real. Build a better program.
