Miami's ACC "gauntlet" is a myth they've been selling for a decade. Their schedule is soft compared to any top Big Ten or SEC slate. That defense gave up 45 to Louisville and got shredded by anyone with a pulse. One five-star recruit doesn't fix a culture that consistently underachieves. Their path is harder because they have to be perfect, and Mario Cristobal has proven he can't get them there. Indiana or Texas Tech would run through that schedule with ease.
