That take completely ignores what Oregon has built. Their recruiting class is elite, but it's the returning production that matters. They bring back 85% of their offensive production from a team that averaged 44 points per game. The QB battle is between two guys who have started Power Five games, and Will Stein's system is proven. Defensively, they ranked 15th in yards per play allowed last year and return their entire secondary. Saying 9-3 is the ceiling is a massive undersell. This is a roster built to win 11 games minimum, and their schedule sets up for a playoff run. The Ducks have the most complete team in the Big Ten outside of Ohio State.
