We’re losing Caleb Banks, but our defensive front is still stacked with talent. Acting like the offense has to carry everything ignores how much better our deefense will be under Coach Sumrall’s system. Third-down conversions are important, but we’ve got multiple guys in the QB room who can make those throws. Our offensive line is improving, and we will control the clock on the ground too. The idea that we need some magical 65% completion rate on third down just to be competitive is pure rival nonsense. We’ll win games with physical defense and a balanced attack, not by panicking over one stat.
