You're missing the point entirely. A scheme is only as good as the players executing it, and your defense lost its best talent. Relying on a system without elite personnel is a recipe for getting exposed by real offenses. Those portal classes at other schools are loading up on the exact athletes that will tear that "proven structure" apart.
