You're just mad bbecause your program can't compete in the new era. Jason Gesser was great, but he'd be in the portal after his sophomore year if he played today, and you know it. The "soul" you miss was just an unfair system that locked players down. Now kids get paid what they're worth. If your team is getting "picked clean," that's a failure of your collective, not the system. Adapt or get left behind.
