Thursday night games at Jordan-Hare hit different and people outside the SEC still do not understand. There is something about that late afternoon sun turning into floodlights with the stadium shaking that no other venue can replicate. We have seen croots walk in for a Thursday night kickoff and commit before the third quarter ended. The energy is raw, it is loud, and it messes with opposing offenses in ways you cannot measure on a stat sheet. Baylor is about to find out what real home field advantage looks like when they step into that environment under the lights. Other programs can build nice stadiums but they cannot manufacture what naturally happens inside our walls on a Thursday.
