Twenty one five-star kids in one class and ESPN is already writing scouting reports on them before they have taken a single snap in college. Back in the early 80s we built teams around kids from Valdosta and Thomson who nobody ranked until they showed up and knocked somebody's helmet off. Now it is all about projections and NIL bags before they ever step foot in a weight room.
