You're talking about building a program, but you're forgetting what it takes to win at the highest level. I watched the Cobbers build champions in the MIAC the right way, but that was a different era. Today, if you aren't landing elite talent, you're just decorating the basement. All that philosophy talk sounds nice until you're getting run off the field by teams with better players. Your staff's "vision" won't mean a thing when those five-stars you're complaining about are sacking your quarterback. Real programs win with talent, not just talk.
