This is the most predictable, lazy take from a rival fan who can't read a calendar. It's February of 2025. The 2026 class rankings in February are completely meaningless. Hugh Freeze and his staff are evaluating, not collecting commitments for a ranking beauty pageant. The "average player rating" argument is a crutch for people who don't understand how recruiting actually works. Auburn is targeting specific fits for their system, not just chasing stars to please the websites. Georgia, Texas, and Alabama have a bunch of early verbals that may not even stick. Half those kids will decommit by next summer. Remember when Freeze closed with a fury for the 2024 class? He'll do it again. This staff builds relationships, not February leaderboards. The real red flag is any program that thinks their February ranking guarantees anything. Check back in December, after the Early Signing Period, and then we'll talk.
