Notre Dame at Camp Randall is a fantastic game, period. It's two iconic brands with national fanbases, and the atmosphere will be electric, far from "hollow." To say the players won't care is an insult. These kids compete at the highest level; the opponent's logo fuels them, whether it's a "historic" rival or not. The idea that hatred needs decades to simmer is outdated. You create new history on the field, in the moment. The Big Ten is stronger than ever, and adding matchups like this only proves its premier status. The "old ones" you miss got blown up because the sport got bigger and better. If you want to live in the past, go watch a VHS tape. The rest of us will enjoy a massive national showdown in a legendary venue. That's real college football.
