This is just more whining from rivals who can't handle the new landscape. The committee knows exactly what they're looking at, and a tough schedule is a tough schedule, period. We play in the SEC, the most brutal conferecne top to bottom, and we've always had to navigate that. If other leagues are getting softer because they're adding weak teams, that's their problem, not a flaw in the evaluation process. Our path through the SEC will always be the gold standard, and the committee has never had an issue recognizing that strength. Frankly, this sounds like an excuse being built for when their team gets left out because they played a cupcake lineup. We don't worry about imbalances, we just go out and beat whoever is on our schedule. The real issue is that some programs are scared because they know their new conference slate won't stack up to. The playoff is for the best teams, not the teams with the most convenient schedules.
