Man, this reeks of someone who's just jealous we keep stacking wins early while their team is already in the gutter by October. Calling it a "loser's mentality" is pure cope. Building momentum is real, and you can't tell me getting our young guys live reps in winnable situations doesn't pay off. It's about installing confidence and letting the system gel before the conference meat grinder. Our non-conference schedule is about getting right, working out the kikns. You act like we're avoiding all competition, but the Liberty League is a brutal week-in, week-out fight that nobody gets through unscathed. We need those early games to be ready for it. The idea that taking a beating from some top-15 team in September somehow makes you tougher in November is fantasy. More often it just leaves you banged up and doubting yourselves. We've seen teams in our league try that "marquee" game and come back shells of themselves. We're building a program the right way, with sustainable success. You want us to schedule harder just so you can point and laugh if we lose? Nah. We'll keep doing what puts us in position to compete for championships, and the wins speak for themselves.
