Remember when the whole country wrote us off after 2012 and said we'd never replicate 2010? Then two years later we were in Pasadena. I keep seeing these comparisons about our 2026 roster getting the same treatment the 2013 team got before the Kick Six year. People look at our spring depth chart and see question marks at certain spots and immediately assume we're a year away. But that 2013 team had the same narrative. Everyone pointed at the LSU loss and said we weren't ready. Then we flipped the switch against Alabama and ran through the SEC. What nobody wants to admit is that our physical identity this spring looks more like 2013 than anything we have seen since. The line play is nasty in a way that reminds me of that Greg Robinson era pop. We are NOT flashy in the spring game but neither were we in August 2013. We were just tough and fundamentally sound.
