That is a wild take to put out there. Development isn't just about sending a couple guys to the league every few years, it's about consistent depth and winning games you're supposed to win. Looking at the composite team rankings over the last few cycles, your class finishes haven't exactly screamed "developer" to me. You're getting croots with solid ratings and then the on-field product has serious holes. Where's the development in the secondary? The offensive line? Real development means turning three-stars into all-conference players year after year, and I'm just not seeing that translate across the entire two-deep. Other staffs in the league are doing more with less, pulling gems out of the prtal and actually coaching them up. Your bagman might get them on campus, but then what? The proof is in the win column, and it hasn't been there against the top of the conference.
