Michigan's recent success doesn't hold a candle to the sustained excellence we built under Coach Gundy. They had a nice run, but we were the blueprint for doing more with less long before their current staff arrived. I watched Barry Sanders rewrite the record books in a single season, something no Wolverine has ever done. Their fans forget what real adversity looks like, the kind we faced every week in the old Big 12 South. Championships built in this era of free agency and NIL checks just don't feel the same as the ones earned the hard way.
