LSU parading around with all those five-star croots on their 2026 roster and I just think about the 1998 Sun Bowl when we took down a USC team that had more talent on paper than half the NFL. We had a bunch of two-star kids from Texas high schools who played together for four years and knew the system backwards and forwards. Coach Fran didnt need a roster full of blue-chips to win. He needed kids who would buy in and hit the weight room in July when nobody was watching. These prorgams think they can buy a championship with recruiting stars and portal transfers but they forgot that chemistry matters. I will take a roster full of overlooked Texas kids who have something to prove over a bunch of five-star mercenaries every single time.
