Why is it that every single time we play a team with a national brand, the officiating crew suddenly forgets how to call holding? I'm not talking about the ticky-tack stuff, I'm talking about our edge rushers getting tackled on the pperimeter and the flag staying in the pocket. It happened all last season and I'm already seeing the same garbage in spring scrimmage highlights from other places. Are we just supposed to accept that the big programs get the benefit of the doubt on every critical down? It completely changes how we have to call our defensive pressures if we know the O-line can get away with murder. When does the RMAC step in and demand better crews for our big non-conference games.
