What are we even talking about here? This is a college football board, not the FCS playoff committee. We play in the ACC, we have a real schedule with real stakes every single week. Talking about Mercer's strength of schedule is a joke when you're comparing it to what we face. We open against Ohio, then we have to go on the road to face an Army team that's always a. That's on top of our ACC slate with Clemson, Miami, and Florida State. Our guys get tested every Saturday in a Power Four conferece. The idea that an FCS team scheduling one tough road game makes them "playoff-ready" is laughable. Our entire season is built for a playoff run in the real FBS postseason. We don't need to pad our wins either, we go out and earn them against the best. Last I checked, we're the ones playing on national television in sold-out stadiums for conference championships. Let Mercer worry about their FCS playoff bid, we're focused on winning the ACC and getting our shot at the big one.
