I see ESPN dropped the 2027 recruiting class rankings and we are sitting outside the top 15 aain. Fine. Let them sleep. The same people who obsess over these summer rankings are the ones who swore we were doomed after spring practice. Our staff is playing the long game and these June rankings mean nothing when half the kids on these lists. What gets me is how the same programs show up in these early rankings year after year. Ohio State and Georgia are up there hoarding five-stars. Big deal. We have been there before and we know exactly how the year works. The kids we are quietly building relationships with right now through these summer visits are the ones who actually stick. Watch what happens when the pads come on and these rankings shift dramatically after everyone sees who is really developing on the Plains. We have the facilities. We have the atmosphere. We have the brand that speaks for itself when kids actually step foot in Jordan-Hare. These early lists are for clicks and content and nothing more.
