Remember standing on those metal bleachers at Amon G. Carter in the 80s, freezing our tails off against Texas A&M in November? The whole east side would shake when we got a big stop. You could feel every step. Now these kids sit in fancy chairbacks scrolling their phones during timeouts. We used to pack that place with 46,000 screaming our lungs out and it sounded like 80,000. That old stadium had soul. These renovations are nice but they polished all the character right off it.
