You watch ESPN compare the 2026, 2027, and 2028 prospetcs and I'm tracking every name on that five star tracker like my life depends on it. Georgia and Ohio State are stacking 5-stars like they're collecting infinity stones and we're sitting here hoping to flip a couple 4-star defensive backs. I'm tired of hearing about Oregon's five 5-stars in 2026 while our 247 composite barely cracks the top 15. The crystal balls are all pointing toward the same usual suspects and nobody is buzzing about USC right now.
Mark my words: by the time the 2027 class signs, we will have at least three 5-stars in our haul. I'm hearing noise from sources close to the program that the summer OVs are going to be massive. We have bags ready to drop and the staff knows we cannot afford another year of getting out-recruited by Michigan and Oregon in our own conference. The silent commits are real, the kids just aren't talking yet. The dead period is killing our momentum but once June hits and these croots step on campus for those official visits, the narrative shifts. We are not done. Not even close.
