Auburn's 2023 class had 21 transfers and it directly addressed critical needs, improving our scoring offense by 5 points per game. Programs that refuse to adapt are gonna get left behind. Development matters, but so does immediately upgrading talent, and the data from successful portal teams shows it works. Acting like it's a "circus" just sounds like an excuse for not competing in the modern landscape. The best programs, including in the SEC, are now masters of both high school recruiting and the portal.
