Just saw the update on Ahmad Hardy from Missouri and man that puts everything in perspective. One of the best backs in the league last year and now he's fighting to recover from a shooting at a concert. Hope he makes a full recovery because that kid can flat out play. SEC football is life and death on the field but nights like this remind you there are bigger things. That said it also makes me think about our own RB room and how we are shaping up for the fall. We took some hits to the NFL draft this year no question but we have a stable of dudes who have been waiting their turn. The spring buzz around our group has been quiet and that is exactly how we like it. Nobody talks about how we have been stockpiling depth at that position for two full cycles now while everybody stares. We are not trying to win the offseason hype tophy but we are also not going to pretend like we are vulnerable at running back. The young guys are physical in practice and the older vets are showing them the way. I would take our committee approach over anyone else's flashy single back right now.
