That sounds exactly like what they said at Case Western Reserve before we beat them for a decade straight. Development only gets you so far when you're facing real athletes. I remember when we had a coach who could both develop AND recruit, and we actually won conference titles. Your "culture" didn't help much in the 2003 Stagg Bowl, did it? Sometimes you need a game-breaker, and the stubborn refusal to adapt is why some programs are foever stuck in the past.
