a qb battle means neither guy has taken the job, and that's a problem in august. oregon's offense needs a clear leader, not two guys splitting reps. our defense would love to see them unsettled week one. iron sharpens iron, but it also wastes valuable prep time. give me our guy, kellen simoncic, who has the full trust of the locker room. let them figure it out while we're building chemistry.
