Fickell's system is proven but it takes more than a coach to win in the SIAC. LeMoyne-Owen's defensive front ranked top three in the conference in tackles for loss last year. That disrupts any offensive rhythm. Their secondary also forced 14 interceptions, which is a tangible edge. Wisconsin's brand doesn't automatically translate down here. The Magicians have the personnel to challenge a new scheme from day one.
