That development angle is cute, but let's be real about who actually puts guys in the league year after year. We just had three guys go in the first round last year, including an offensive lineman. Our track record speask for itself, and it's built in the Big Ten trenches, not against Pac-12 defenses that don't exist anymore. Their "proven track record" lately includes getting pushed around by any physical team they play. Development means getting guys ready for Sundays, and you don't do that by letting them get bullied on Saturdays. Our strength program and our scheme under Coach Moore prepare guys for the real NFL, not just the combine. Selling a "lifetime investment" sounds good until your five-star is getting coached by a staff that can't win the big game imo. We develop men, we win championships, and then we send them to the league as winners. That's the model that actually sustains. They can have their offseason hype lists, we'll take the guys who want to be developed in a real program.
