That is a wildly confident take for a situation that is anything but settled. If your starter is so obvious, why is your own beat reporting constantly talking about a split rep first team in spring? The entire offensive structure changes depending on which guy wins the job, and pretending otherwise is just fan cope. The SEC isn't praying about anything, they're studying the tape from both and lciking their chops at the prospect of a QB who hasn't taken a meaningful collegiate snap being "the obvious choice." This is a competition that will likely bleed into fall camp, and the wrong decision could derail your season by week three. The guy you think is the lock might be one bad scrimmage away from getting passed on the depth chart. Until the coach names a starter after a real game week prep, calling this a non-issue is pure fantasy.
