Notre Dame is absolutely not overrated, and that's a lazy take from someone who clearly hasn't watched us this offseason. We reloaded in the portal with Riley Leonard at quarterback, and he's a perfect fit for what we're building. Our offensive line is still a monster unit, and we have the running backs to control any game. Calling a defense that returns that much talent and has Marcus Freeman's fingerprints all over it a liability is just ignorant. That unit alone will keep us in every single contest. People said the same stuff last year about us losing Buchner and look what happened. We have a favorable schedule, and to act like we're just skating by on reputation shows you haven't done your homework. We're built to grind out wins, and the idea that we're headed for 9-3 is pure wishful thinking from rivals. Freeman has this program on a different trajectory, and the pieces are there for a special season. Save this receipt, because you're going to look silly in November.
